A whole day in HK Disneyland will surely make any kid (including kids at heart) happy! Read on more after the jump.
For this year’s summer break, the whole family went to Hong Kong for a little R&R. We got discounted plane tickets as a result of accumulated credit card deals and promos over the past year, and this would be the second time that the whole family was complete on a trip abroad. The first time was way back in 1998 when my siblings and I were still little kids, and Hong Kong Disneyland was still non-existent then. This year’s trip was extra special because aside from the family, we also had my siblings’ kids with us during the trip.
A trip to Hong Kong would not be complete without visiting Hong Kong Disneyland. Despite being smaller than the other Disneyland franchises, we were able to enjoy the whole day with all the theme rides and attractions they had.
The main attraction in the theme park was the parade itself of course! All of the classic Disney characters riding in floats were there. There were also some pretty nice acrobatic stunts by the dancers. My nephews had an awesome time watching all their favorite characters parade down the street, they were even able to dance with some of them!
The newest attraction there this summer was Toy Story Land. It was very cool on how they set up the place, you’d feel like you were one of the little toys yourself because of the humongous displays they put there.
Although very tiring, I especially enjoyed this year’s summer outing because it was one of the rare moments that we all get to go and enjoy each other’s company.
