Recap: Darling Diana Mini Workshop

The Darling Diana Mini workshop was a blast! On a cozy Sunday afternoon in November a few Lomographers gathered round to learn all about this cute little camera. We set forth on an adventure around Wicker Park, tiny camera in, to capture this nice Fall day on film.

The Diana Mini has to be one of the cutest cameras ever, so of course we had to dedicate an entire workshop to this little camera. The workshop started at The Lomography Gallery Store Chicago where we went over the basics of how to use the camera as well as some tips and tricks.

Although the Diana Mini doesn’t have a panoramic setting, you can still shoot panoramic photos with it. We also learned how to have fun with multiple and double exposures. We experimented with half frame and square format photography – this little camera packs a lot of punch!

After our short lecture we hit the streets of Wicker Park to practice all the skills we just learned! We experimented with double exposures on textures and portraits as well as shooting from different angles. Everyone had a blast on their jaunt with the Diana Mini.

If you missed out on this awesome workshop, do not fret, we have more planned!
