Tell us about yourself. What do you do for a living? What are your interests?

Hi! I am currently studying Fine Arts in Barcelona and that’s basically what I do — learn, learn, and learn! About my interests, they are basically photography and drawing or illustration, plus, I’m discovering video right now so I’m quite excited.

How long have you been a Lomographer and how did you find out about the Community?

I’ve been a Lomographer from about two years ago, and since then I could not stop and I hope it lasts!

I don’t remember exactly how I discovered Lomography but I think I was on Flickr and I saw a photo taken with a Diana F+ and I totally fell in love. It was the first camera I bought and it is one of my favourites.

Describe the LomoKino in five words.

Film, magic, quick, fun, creative

How did you like shooting with the LomoKino?

I like capturing moments and places. I like taking the LomoKino with me when I travel (along with my other cameras) because it gives me another dimension to the memories.

It Woke Me Up this Morning

What or who has inspired you to purchase and use the LomoKino?

I’ve never tried this thing of recording, and I thought that the LomoKino would be a way of throwing myself into something that won’t give me so much fear. Because actually, the movies are a bunch of photos one after another.

Any funny or strange encounters you’ve had with it?

One day I was sitting in the street with a friend, shooting with the LomoKino and showing her how it works, when suddenly a lady stopped to ask about the camera and she immediately wanted to use it!

Cannot Wait the Hours

If you could shoot any person alive or dead (or imaginary) with your LomoKino, who would it be and why?

Actually, there are so many people that I would like to shoot (or meet!) that I can’t choose anyone. So I will say, that I prefer to shoot a lot more of years with my friends and family, the important people.

Kindly share to us any LomoKino movie you love the most.

I like a lot of movies, but for example, this one seems perfect to me.

Any future plans with your LomoKino? More shoots or a full-length film perhaps?

I like the short films of the LomoKino itself, so I don’t plan on doing full-length films. What I would like to try is to record with multiple exposures and create new worlds!

Your advice to future LomoKino users.

Try different types of film and experiment all you can. And when you think you’ve finished the film, give one more lap to the spool (the film is too expensive just to waste it!)
