DIY : Old Audio Cassettes Turned into a Table Lamp .

2012-11-08 2

If you are from my generation, you’re sure to have a lot of audio cassettes somewhere in your home and you don’t listen to them anymore. This is a good way to use them again .

This year the audio cassette turns 50 years old , for youngsters I suggest this article

I recently saw a picture of a lamp made with cassettes, and I wanted to make one for my house. I chose some old cassettes, a structure of an old lamp and started the work.

  • Old audio cassettes
  • Structure of an old lamp
  • Scissors
  • Plastic clamps

Now the hard part . It is actually very simple, using the plastic clamps, fix the cassettes to each other and to the structure of the lamp.

Take the scissors and cut the ends of the clamps .

Now you have a new table lamp.
