Colonial Williamsburg

Unless you’re a big history junkie, don’t go here.

I never was huge on history. But in 2008’s 4th of July weekend, I half-heartedly joined colleagues on an eight-hour trip south of Big Apple for a blast in the past experience.

And it sure was.

Soon enough, we checked into a quaint two-floor hotel made to compliment the surrounding preserved community. For those of you wondering, yes, the hotel had airconditioning and wi-fi.

It was a refreshing experience but I don’t think I’ll ever go for a second trip. I’ll take a trip to an art gallery any day. I may not had that much fun but my cameras had a blast —new perspective compared to the usual sights in the city that never sleeps.

Shots taken with a Holga (with green filter on some shots) and 120 films I forgot which.
