Workshop: Experimental Black and White Development

Here at the Lomography Gallery Store Toronto, we are very interested in experimental processes. For a cost of $20, this special workshop will introduce you to the glory of processing your own black and white film at home! Best of all, you don’t need to mess with any harsh chemicals!

WHAT: Experimental Black and White Development
WHEN: Saturday October 27th 2012 @ 12 – 3pm
WHERE: Lomography Gallery Store Toronto

The two major ingredients we will use for this process will be instant coffee and vitamin c (not only great for breakfast). Using these items plus a few other common household ingredients, we will demonstrate a simple method to develop black and white film. This workshop will cover the entire process from shooting to development (cameras and film will be provided). A pre-requisite of a Lomography workshop or experience with 35mm film is suggested for this workshop.

◦Workshops are $10 ($7 for students) unless otherwise noted. Workshop admission includes a free roll of film and a loaner camera if applicable. All participants will receive a 10% coupon for the store! Be sure to arrive early if you want to borrow a camera as quantities are limited.
