If you like Thai food, and you happen to be in Richmond VA, you have to go to Mom’s Siam. Their food is unstoppable, it’s seriously some of the best Thai food I’ve ever had.
I always have a difficult time choosing which dish to get – the Chicken Basil, the Drunken Noodle, the Curry… so many options! Not to mention their Siam Dumplings are amazing, and the Shrimp Plagong is probably the tastiest thing I’ve ever eaten.
This particular night, however, we were not at Mom’s Siam for the food – we came to celebrate my friend Michelle’s birthday out on the patio. It was a beautiful night, so even though the inside is a great place to celebrate we couldn’t help but be distracted by the massive red umbrellas and the nice summer breeze. Just before the sunset we ordered some drinks and a few appetizers and just genuinely had a good time. This restaurant caters to the party crowd, the fancy date diners, or the local passerby. You will never be disappointed when you dine or hang out at this fantastic restaurant in Carytown!
