Lomography’s Analogue Circus is full of visitors from all over the world, but so is our LomoMap! Check out what was going on at the Opening Ceremony of the LomoMap after the jump.
The opening ceremony took place in front of Cologne’s main train station, right next to Cologne’s famous cathedral. Notice the massive map on the ground? Well it took a lot of people and a lot of hours put that together. You wouldn’t believe how many photos and lomo walls were involved in this LomoMap project.
We also had the pleasure to hear The Mahala Rai Banda from Romania play some happy tunes at the ceremony. People were enjoying the photos as well as the dancing to the happy tunes the band was playing.
The ceremony also included the winner announcement of the LomoMap competition. There was a total prize of €17,000 to win. The first winner received €10,000! Check out the winning picture!
And the smile on her face!
