What inspired you to create this movie, Joy Voyage?
My biggest inspiration for the movie was the city i live Athens, and the people who live in it. Athens is a big city with an architectural anarchy and pretty much a grey scene, although everyone of us is looking for a joy voyage, a tool that make us happy and forget about the bad things, in this case is skateboarding. Skateboarding is the best way to explore and use the city no matter the terrain. I wanted to show the diversity that skatebording gives make something beautifull out of something ugly.
If you win the prize money, what would be the concept for your next LomoKino movie?
It will be a 30 minute film about people who live in big cities that they are so close but in the same time so far from each other.
What do you like best about the LomoKino?
The best thing about the Lomokino is that its fully manual, with film, and so easy to develop.
