Believe it or not, Agfa Vista can give almost the same effect of slide films. I was surprised and flattered when I had my first trial shooting in Victoria Bridge, Perak. So hey Lomo buddy, don’t wait. Just try. You will have a crush on it.
The first slide film I tried was Agfa CT Precisa. I was indulged in the high contrasty effect of slide films since. However, I found that some shops nowadays do not provide slide film cross-processing, even if yes, the price of developing might not be affordable in the long run.
Then, I figured out another Agfa negative film which was the Agfa Vista 100. A good new one. For those who aren’t comfortable with the cross-processed look of the Agfa CT Precisa, please don’t hesitate to try Agfa Vista, one of the best Agfa negative films. It can give almost the same effect of slide films when shooting under the sun.
Full of expectations, I went to Victoria Bridge, which was the oldest railway bridge located in Karai, Perak. How come not much people are aware of it, I keep asking myself. And this made me decide to go for a shoot.
The thing I love with films so much is that I can point the camera lens towards the sun, without worrying about overexposure. It will produce some unexpected effects instead.
Thanks to my friends who were willing to be my models. We are not professional though. Photos tell all the attitude behind.
I wish my intention to attract the public know about this place would be achieved. Of course, Agfa Vista 100 made its contribution too. Again, don’t underestimate Lomography. It’s not all about perfection, but attitude.
