The Diana Baby 110 and The Big Apple make for an interesting combination of contrasts. Meet Liad and find out what he got up to with this tiny camera in New York.
First things first. Tell us a couple of things about you, maybe where you are and what colors you’re wearing.
I’m in New York City. I’m wearing blue jeans and black shoes and my shirt color changes every day!
What about your adventures with the Diana Baby 110? Where did you go with it, what and who did you shoot?
I took it to the park; I took it on some walks. One day I took it to see Beach House at the Central Park Summer Stage. It rained pretty hard so I didn’t get to shoot as much as I wanted that day.
What was your proudest moment in the company of this baby?
When it took its first steps.
Which of the two lenses complements your analogue lifestyle best?
I like it wide. The world is big and I need a wide lens to take it all in!
If you could take a picture of anyone with your Diana Baby 110, of whom would it be?
My new nephew, Adam! He’s the other new baby in my life lately! He was born just 3 weeks ago!

UK-based photographer Simeon Smith is a true analogue apostle, sampling camera sounds to make interesting rhythms, then shooting film to make his music videos. He is also a huge Leica fan so we decided to lend him the new Jupiter 3+ Art Lens to test out.

The young artist and Magnum photographer Christopher Anderson published on his agency's website an awesome photo series, one of the images in it a great symbol of freedom, joy of living outdoors, purity, innocence, candor, and girlhood: the bare sole of a female lifted up, taken at the Central Park in New York. Like many other great Magnum photographers, Anderson explored this interesting body part through photographs. For this tribute, I chose a series of bare feet images I took along the promenade of the lake Como. Take a look!

When asked to recall the moment they first became truly interested in photography, most photographers would remember the magical feeling of picking up a hand-me-down or secondhand camera, the thrill of shooting an entire roll through, and the elation upon seeing and holding their first ever set of photographs. Caleb Savage, however, had quite a unique experience. At 10 years old, he had his first taste of working in the darkroom making prints at Boy Scout camp, thereby beginning a more than a decade-long affinity with photography.
