Faces of Seattle: A group showing of The Seattle Lomo Adventure Club

2012-08-22 1

A group showing of The Seattle Lomo Adventure Club at the Pioneer Square Saloon. Come down and see our large Lomo Wall on the theme: Faces of Seattle. We have over 750 shots taken in and around the Emerald City by our crazy group of lomographers and you won’t want to miss the fun. For our opening night, we will have live music and we will be there in force, demonstrating lomo-techniques (light painting, double exposures, etc.) to the First Thursday Art Walk Crowd. Come on down, and don’t forget your camera.

The Seattle Lomo Adventure Club (SLAC) has been going strong for several years now. This will be our first ever Group Show. The Pioneer Square Saloon has graciously decided to host our show for the month of September. This Saloon is in the heart of historic Seattle, and just oozes history and ambiance.

The show opening will be part of the vibrant First Thursday Art Walk in Pioneer Square. This area comes alive with a multitude of gallery openings, street musicians, and food vendors. While the show will be up for the entire month, you really don’t want to miss the opening First Thursday night. We will be there in force…demonstrating all ten of the golden rules on an unsuspecting Art Walk crowd. Light painting, film swaps, double and triple exposures, not to mention that Diana F+ herself will be present, cranking out instant shots of the crowd going wild.

We have collected over 750 shots from within our SLAC group on the theme Faces of Seattle. These will be up in a giant lomo wall for the awe of all who dare to view it.

SLAC’rs will also be displaying enlarged “signature” shots; many of which will be available for purchase.

This event is for 21 and over only please.

Come join in the fun and see what the Seattle Lomo Adventure Club is all about. You won’t want to miss it.
