Doubles With You: MandaShitley vs. MajorTed

7

West meets farther west in this dusty, dry, blood-red Doubles With You edition!

This was me and Manda second doubles together (our first try at it didn’t pan out so well). Soooo, she sent me over a roll of Lomo Redscale film to finish the job with, and we both agree; the results came out much better than we expected them to! On my half I shot the art district of Tucson, Arizona, and Manda shot hers at various locations in League City, Texas, including a playground and an arcade.

The two very different locations blended quite well into a quirky mish-mash of so many random things; giant tiki heads, sign language charts, trolleys, outdoor murals, and wheels of fortune, to name a few. We do hope you enjoy the dusty red fruits of our labor!

The very south of the country is already in the tropical zone but the north still belongs to the Sahara desert. I had the opportunity to visit this area and witness a magical moment: a sunrise in the desert.
