My Diana Mini Coral Fusion, My Love!

2012-08-22 1

My Lovely Diana Mini Coral Fusion was my first film camera!! With it’s unique personality, I instantly fell in love with this coral beauty!

The Diana Mini Coral Fusion clone is a beautiful camera to have. This camera is my first ever film camera, because I am fourteen and grew up with the digital generation. I found about about the Lomographic Society last December. When I first saw the Diana Mini, I instantly fell in love with it, but none of the styles really interested me. When Lomography introduced this clone, I was sold.

The Diana Mini is based on the Diana F+. The Diana F+ is based on Diana camera, which was very popular in the 1960s. The plastic lens gives the Diana Mini a very soft and dreamy effect to pictures. The Diana Mini has two shutter settings, N and B. It also has two aperture settings. It shoots 35mm and can shoot square frame or half frame.

With the Diana Mini Coral Fusion, the color gives you a feeling and makes you happy. You don’t need to ask people to smile when they see the Diana Mini Coral Fusion’s colorful personality. I went out on the town to take some shots, and everyone that came up to me was so fascinated about this little camera. My friends loved playing with it when they came over. Some people thought it wasn’t even a real camera when I showed it to them.

Since I’ve never really used film before, most of the photos that I took didn’t really come out that well. But some of the photos that I took actually came out really well.

Overall, the Diana Mini Coral Fusion is a really great camera for a starter, or someone who has been shooting film for years. Out of all of the cameras that Lomography produces, this one is my favorite! This Diana Mini comes with color gels for your flash that gives your pictures color! The Diana F+ Flash comes with this package and it is really great gift!

Thank you Lomography for producing this great camera! I love it!

The Diana Mini is the ultra-compact, petite version of the Diana F+. This camera takes soft-focused, lo-fi images in 35mm and allows you to change between half-format and square shots with a flick of a switch. Get your own Diana Mini now!

Nice little review, it's a gorgeous camera you have! I had the bright pink one but I sold it in the end (big regret) The coral colour is lovely though, thanks for sharing. :-)

How to Develop Photos on Stone in a Darkroom

I have always loved the idea of seeing my photos on stone and other natural materials. So, a few months ago, I began googling how it could be done. This is how I discovered (and fell in love with) liquid emulsion. Liquid emulsion is photographic emulsion which you can melt down and paint on any surface. You can then expose an image and develop it using traditional darkroom chemicals. In this article, I would like to explain the process a little, so that if you are also interested in giving this fun process a go, you can!
