Workshop Highlights: School Bus Trip to Riis Beach

The Lomography Gallery Store NYC in Greenwich Village packed up its beach bag and headed out to Riis Beach! We got a yellow school bus and filled it with Lomographers ready for the sun and sand. Take a look at the wonderful day we had!

What: School Bus Trip to Riis Beach
When: August 12, 2012
Where: Lomography Gallery Store NYC Greenwich Village

We gathered everyone nice and early so we could fit in lots of time at the beach. The bus ride over was nice and relaxing and everyone was eager to shoot lots of film on a beautiful day.

Probably the best part of the trip was our sand castle competition! There were some amazing sculptures including a roll of 100 speed film and a castle complete with an instant photograph in the center. The winner made a sandy LC-A+ complete with shell light meter and bottle cap advance mechanism.

We really had a blast with everyone and we hope to see you all on our next bus trip!
