With My New Lomography Spinner 360: Fun All Around!

A few days ago, I received a very welcome gift: the mythical Spinner 360. I immediately put it to the test, now do you want to know how it performed? Well, read on …

Who says that graduation is good for nothing? It is not true! Graduation is for receiving gifts too! Here, one of the best gifts I received for my recent graduation, it was obviously something Lomographic: the fabulous Spinner 360 with lots of rolls to test it now!

The camera is like a “drug” because a photo leads to another in the true sense of the word. Since panoramic photos to be considered from a roll of 36 exposures will be 8 panoramic pictures, then on a roll of 24 will become 5 or 6 at most. That said, gripping the Spinner, the temptation to immediately take a roll in full, once loaded, was very strong. So it was for me, I shot three rolls immediately. I chose two different situations: the beach and the walk to Luna Park with my brother’s son!

As also recommended by the instruction manual that came with the camera, it is better to use fast film due to the rotation of the lens: I used 400 and 800 ISO film. However, it could be interesting to use slower films, 100 and 50 ISO for example, to create particular effects of image blur. And this is what I will do soon!

Via a small lever next to the lens, you can set the camera to “sunny”, “cloudy” or “R” (for rewinding the film).

The opportunity to unleash your imagination with the Spinner are so many: you can shoot with the camera straight ahead to barge into the picture, you can keep it on the head instead if you do not want to appear in the photo; another person can take the camera while we’re shooting for example, or it can be moved up and down while shooting, thus, giving rise to undulating landscapes and more…it’s definitely up to you!

These are my results, good vision!

Now it’s up to you to show your picture-boggling!
