This summer, there was in Appiano Gentile (near Como, in the North of Italy) a “twinning” between two timeless sports: rugby and golf. Both sports are new entries in the Olympic Games of Rio de Janeiro 2016, both are sports played by gentlemen.
The Virginia Golf Club in Appiano Gentile has a field with short paths, some green for putting, and it is an ideal place for beginners.
This is an amazing place of greenery and flowers to pass a Sunday in an oasis of peace, playing a great sport.
I made many photos with a “normal” camera, my Praktica and with two Lomo camera, my Actionsampler and a Diana F+.
The golf players are great gentlemen, they allowed me to take many photos that I donated to the club:
Rugby Como is a young team, which has been around for a few years and plays in the third division of the Italian championship.
All these photos were taken with my Diana F+ camera and a Lomography CN 100 film roll.
The Diana F+ is a new twist on the ‘60s classic cult camera. Famous for its dreamy and soft-focused images, the Diana F+ is now packed with extra features such as panorama and pinhole capabilities. Available in our Online Shop.
