It was a rainy summer Saturday in New York City, but that didn’t stop 4 wonderful Lomographers from joining us at the Lomography Gallery Store Gramercy for our Pop 9 in 3-D workshop! Eager to learn how to create fantastic little 3-D gems out of Pop 9 images, they braved the weather and we provided cozy couches, cameras, and a fun workshop!
What: The Pop 9 in 3-D!
When: Saturday, July 28, 2012 @ 2pm
Where: The Lomography Gallery Store Gramercy
Camera: The Pop 9, and other Multilens cameras
Technique: Creating 3-D images out of multilens photographs!
The Pop 9 is a fun camera all its own, creating 9 tiny gems on one photograph, each slightly unique while still being the same moment in time. One of the coolest things to do with the Pop 9 is to turn those tiny images into one 3-demensional image, and that my friends, is exactly what we set out to do.
We gathered at the Gallery store in Gramercy for a crash course on the Pop 9, and then went over how exactly to turn our final images into these 3-demensional masterpieces!
We hit the rainy streets and shot as much as we could, to return and process or film. Once the film was ready, we were able to make 3-D Pop 9 images of our own!
