Vintage boots, collector first-edition books, old family-photographs of people you’ll never meet, all carefully stored in a shoebox. These are the sights you can bank on coming across at any flea market. Here are the top 3 flea markets in Singapore for you to enjoy!
Sungei Road Thieves’ Market
For all us vintage camera enthusiasts this is the place to be! Read more, in detail, about the flea market in the article by our very own coolsigg: Vintage Camera Bazaar at Sungei Road Flea Market
It’s open daily from 11 am – 7pm! We recommend cruising along one morning, or right before going home in the evening, to enjoy a blast from the past as this flea market is infamous for old cassettes and out-dated electronics at dirt-cheap prices.
Located at: Jalan Besar near Sungei Road, between Kelantan Road and Weld Road
Zouk Flea & Easy
Fashionistas, the hip, and the trend-hungry are seen moving from stall-to-stall at this large Singaporean flea market!
We don’t put it past our Lomography community to have already known about this one. Thought for visitors to the area, we recommend it for vintage and good second-hand finds that aren’t usually more than 40 SGD! Thought this affair is only on once every three months so keep yourself posted by visiting their website here for updates.
Located at: Zouk Club, 17 Jiak Kim St.
Flea Fly Flo Fun
Found at Home Club, this indoors flea-market calls itself “indie” – and rightfully so. From it’s lofty location to the selection of items on display, it’s definitely very contemporary, unique, conceptual.
It’s on bi-monthly, so you’re in luck! Be sure to check their schedule on their website here.
Located at: Home Club, B1-01/06, The Riverwalk, 20 Upper Circular Road
