With this months workshops ranging from basic introductory ones to full on camera-craft sessions there’s something there for everyone, whether you’re an analogue newbie, a proper camera enthusiast, a lost tourist or just a plain bored local! WHAT: Customize Your Camera – DIY session
WHEN: Thursday 9th August, 6pm

We’ve got a new La Sardina in town and this time it comes completely naked! The La Sardina DIY is a blank canvas for you to let your creativity to go wild and for that reason a good old craft session is in order! Come for an evening of painting, cutting, pasting and general mess-making as we customize our cameras into masterpieces! We’ll have lots of tools and materials for you to play around with, some inspirational mood boards going and nice tunes to work and chat to. Plus there might even be a sneaky drink or two in it for you to get the creative juices flowing!
This workshop is FREE for everyone who buys a La Sardina DIY! Tickets are £10 for all other cameras that want to be part of the fun. Included are all craft materials and use of tools for the session plus drinks.
WHAT: Spinning ’round Piccadilly Circus
WHEN: Sunday 12th August, 2pm

Join us for a walk down to one of London’s most iconic landmark with the Spinner 360! The legendary Piccadilly Circus is just around the corner from our shop and what better way to capture this famous spot than with an extreme panoramic image straight onto film! We’ll meet instore where we’ll tell you all the basics about this amazing camera and then head out with Spinners in hand to capture everything from Regent street’s grand old buildings to the hustle and bustle of Piccadilly with it’s black cabs, double deckers and gawky tourists!
Tickets are £15 and include a short presentation, lend-a-Spinner 360, 2 rolls of film plus discounts off film processing.
WHAT: Mask it up with the Diana F+
WHEN: Thursday 16th August, 6pm

Technique or Tipster: Camera Masking and Introduction to the Diana F+
Did you know masks are not just for faces? Stick one in a camera to get cool patterns and crazy effects over your picture! In this class we’ll use patterned transparency filters (masks) on the Diana F+, the lovely 120 camera that’s always up for a bit of fancy dress! We’ll tell you all about this special technique and how to use the Diana before you go out and shoot a roll with your mask of choice. You can either design your own masks for us to print or you can go wild and pick one from our nice collection. Don’t get stuck in a rut, mask it up!
Tickets are £15 and include a short presentation, a lend- a-Diana F+, a customized camera mask, a roll of film plus discounts off film processing. WHAT: Exhibition Walk to the Museum of London
WHEN: Saturday 18th August, 1pm

Come along for an afternoon at the museum to see the great wall of Lomography! For the past months Lomography UK has been gathering images from our community members along the theme “aspiring and achieving in London” to build a giant Lomowall in the Museum of London and now, finally, it’s ready! 30.000 images line the walls inside and out of the Museum in an amazing swirl of colours and patterns so it’s the perfect opportunity for an exhibition excursion with the Lomo LC-Wide to snap around the museum in super-wide style. Who knows, if you were one of the lovely Lomographers who submitted your shots for the wall, you might just spot yours! Famous!

WHAT: Introducing the mighty Diana Mini

She might look oh-so-small and cute but get to know her and you’ll find she’s one tough cookie! The Diana Mini is one tiny wonder and in this introductory workshop you can get to grips with all the basics of this little power house where we’ll cover everything from loading your film to the best tips and tricks for shooting before going out to snap a roll of your own!
