A Secret Lunchtime Getaway Destination - Until Now

1

This Thai-inspired restaurant’s exact location in Singapore is a secret known only to a select few – until now.

One day at work, my colleague suggested that we have lunch at Thai Pan Restaurant. Being the newest addition to the office, I was happy to explore the dining options around the area.

It was only a five-minute drive to the restaurant. But during my first visit, I found out that the restaurant was located in a private condominium named Mandarin Gardens.

Except for the residents living within the private condominium where the restaurant is located, this restaurant is really out of the way for majority of the people.

My colleague, who introduced me to this restaurant, told us that she only knew about this restaurant because one of her friends stays there. Her friend brought her to try the food and told my colleague that this restaurant is actually open to the public. All we need to do is inform the security guards that we’re heading to Thai Pan.

According to its website, this is the restaurant’s first outlet.

The food was reasonably priced. It costs just slightly more than meals at a food court but you get to enjoy the private setting and a swimming pool view.

Having patronised the restaurant several times now, I would say that the Chinese dishes are value for money.

Not surprisingly, we have begun to see an increase in the numbers of working professionals having their lunch at this restaurant.
