Tell us about yourself. What do you do for a living? What are your interests?

I’m a designer, working as a creative director in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Besides packaging design, I’m crazy about fashion, retro and vintage styles and, of course, everything about analogue photography.

How long have you been a Lomographer and how did you find out about the Community?

I started with an Action Sampler in 2009. Few months later, I got my first Diana F+ at Lomography Gallery Store Rio de Janeiro and joined the Community. Here I am, 59 albums, 1277 photos and 14 LomoWalls later.

Describe the LomoKino in five words.

Lovely memories in dreamy movies.

How did you like shooting with the LomoKino?

Simply loved it! The tec-tec sound, the post-production, the dreamy images, everything about “her” is just really charming!

What or who has inspired you to purchase and use the LomoKino?

The Community did! Hard to resist to all those teasers. Moreover, inspired by Tim Burton’s films, all I could think about was producing a stop motion short movie.

Any funny or strange encounters you’ve had with it?

My first contact with the Kino was during the workshop “Make Drink and Shoot” at Lomography Gallery Store Soho, in London. We went to a club called The Social to shoot a bartender making drinks. However, as a Lomographer I’m not used to click looking through the viewfinder (not necessarily), and as a result, I made a movie of the bartender’s belly. It was a lot of fun, though.

If you could shoot any person alive or dead (or imaginary) with your LomoKino, who would it be and why?

If I could choose anyone to shoot with my Kino, it would probably be a Tarantino character. Any character in one of his action scenes.

Kindly share to us any LomoKino movie you love the most.

Any future plans with your LomoKino? More shoots or a full-length film perhaps?

Sure! I’m always thinking about my next project. I guess it will be a full-length film about Mr. Bergamota’s life.
