30,000 photos. 400 Lomowall panels. 15,000 submissions from 32 countries. Five Paralympic teams in training. One massive six month LomoWall exhibition at the Museum of London. We’re having a launch party and the world is invited (including you!)
This year, the whole world’s eyes are on London, and this year, you can see London through the eyes of analogue photographers all over the world.
For the first five months of this year Lomography held open calls for analogue photo submissions along the theme of ‘aspiring and achieving in London’. We also documented Team GB Paralympic athletes in training, from the sports of Tennis, Judo, Archery, Swimming and Equestrian.
30,000 photos have been individually printed, laid out in a mosaic pattern and stuck by hand to create a series of huge LomoWalls outside and in the Museum of London. This is one mega riot of colour!
So, we’d like to invite you to the launch party, grab a free drink courtesy of Rekorderlig and see the spectacle yourself, in the biggest UK Lomography meet-up EVER!
