We’ve already introduced Ms. Natsumi Hayashi here and follow her as she continuously posted 1 photo a day on her blog Yowa Yowa Camera Woman Diary for 1 year from New year’s day 2011.

She mostly works on her blog, as well as on Twitter and Facebook. Soon after she started her blog, she captured hearts around Asia, Taiwan and China. There were many people who started shooting their own levitaion photos and the blog is billed as “Tokyo levitation girl” in China.

Young Asians might identify their rapid economic development and the future with her photos. She’s got many messages from all over the world besides Asia. Even in the West , countless bloggers, The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal have inducted her photos and work.

In an interview, she said, “the confines of gravity are the symbols of chains against us. We are influenced by social stresses much like being under the confines of gravity, so I hope we could be free of any social confines with my photos. For even a moment.”

This exhibition is the first try to officially show her photos and also have a publication party for her photo collection. Want to experience her enigmatic levitation feeling?
