One of the most under utilized little accessories at Lomography is the color-gel. Those tiny little strips of transparent color that you get with your flash have so many more uses than just to add a pop of color in low-light situations. Join us at the Lomography Gallery Store Gramercy to explore just what other uses of color these gels can have for your spectacular photographs!
What: Rainbow Color-Gel Magic
Technique: Using color-gels to enhance your photographs
Think those little color gels that come with your Diana F+ are just for putting into your flash? Think again! These charming filters can be used for so many things. From using more than one to get a split-image effect to putting a different one over each lens of one of our multi-lens cameras to create a rainbow, these gels have more uses than you could imagine! They even can be used to change the look of Black and White film! Curious? We will explore the possibilities of color gels to enhance our photographs, and would love for you to share your ideas with us at the workshop!
