Pro(ana)logue is the first exhibition of its kind, showcasing what professional photographers can achieve with analogue film cameras in their “playground”. These cameras may be deemed as a toy to many but when placed in the right hands, they can be a powerful creative tool used to capture priceless moments and ignite emotions.
This showcase features 4 Singaporean professional photographers who work in different areas of specialties.
Skye Tan was born in Singapore, and graduated with a diploma in Photography from the Temasek Polytechnic School of Visual Communications. Brian is currently the silver medalist for Photographer of The Year 2010 award for the Artistic Guild of Wedding Photo Journalist Association (AG|WPJA)

Pierce graduated as a film-maker, but instead chose a career in photography. In his most recent project, pro(ana)logue, he goes back to his roots and shoots a commercial music video with the lomokino. He hopes that through this project, more would come to view a lo-fi camera as a viable creative tool for commercial works.
One of his “missions” is to promote film photography, he feels that there is certain aspect of film photography that is hard to achieve with digital. And shooting film puts the thinking back into the shooting process. Thus he started a retail shop selling film cameras and film rolls. Hoping that through this, more can be educated and interested in film photography.
