Everyone who’s going to the Festival will tell you this: there’s Cannes by day, where people are rushing to attend as many screenings as they can, and there’s Cannes by night, where it’s all about partying, sipping cocktails, and seeing famous artists performing live onstage. Yesterday, we didn’t want to miss Kelis playing live at the Nikki Beach!
You need to know that there’s a party every night during the 10 days in Cannes. It’s just part of the Festival. And even if you need to be up and ready at 9 AM to attend the first screening of the day, you don’t want to miss one of the several parties that happen around the Palais des Festivals.
Yesterday at the Nikki Beach, Kelis was in charge of hosting the show. For all of you who don’t know her, we’re pretty sure that you’ve heard (at least once) and danced to some of her best tracks, which are probably Milkshake and Trick Me (every good DJ should know that these tracks work every time and make people dance).
We were at the Nikki Beach yesterday, but we were still on time this morning at our booth in association with MUBI, where you can still win a LomoKino MUBI Edition through our competition. If you want to know more about it, you can read this article, or come to say hello at our booth if you’re at Cannes yourself!
No need to mention that we’ve been bringing some of our favorite cameras with us during all the parties in Cannes. Just give us some time to develop our pictures and we’ll show you all of the Cannes’ nightlife very soon!
