Call for Photos: Lomography’s First Ever Permanent Public LomoWall To Be Built In Manchester, UK

That’s right, Lomography UK and the team at Lomography Gallery Store Manchester have been beavering away planning something super special for the Manchester community! We’re beyond excited to announce the project, which will be a first of its kind for Lomography!

What: The first EVER permanent public LomoWall
When: Launching end of July 2012
Where: Tariff Street, Piccadilly Basin, Manchester

Lomography UK have partnered up with CityCo to bring you the worlds first permanent, public LomoWall!

The wall itself is going to be 30m long and will be made up of a whopping 14,000 Lomographs all taken by you! Want to have your photos included? You’ve got until June 3rd to submit your entries. The over riding theme is water, as the LomoWall is launching as part of the 2012 Canal Festival, however we also want photos that reflect the area; mills, bridges, ducks, the lot!

Of course there’ll be an awesome launch party to go with it, but you’ll have to keep your eyes peeled for details on those. For now, get snapping, get submitting and get spreading the news!
