“Our global photo project is taking place on May 15. This is a unique inclusive single day photographic project involving professional, semi-professional and amateur photographers – in one day we are going to capture everyday life all over the world!” says Wikstrom. While the event starts today, you have until May 22 to share your pics. | MAY 15 2012 | Bring your camera!

The collected images will creat a web resource, especially for education. One thousand images will also be selected for inclusion in a global exhibition and a book that will be published in at least ten countries. We are working with the National Archives in Sweden and several other institutions to ensure that this resource is kept, treasured and made available for generations to come. This basically means that we are all sending a message to the future.
