Apichatpong Weerasethakul bagged the prestigious Palme d’Or at Cannes in 2010. Tonight is the official premiere of his LomoKino movie at Cannes, but don’t worry if you can’t make it. On May 24th we’ll bring all the Cannes glamour to Lomography Gallery Stores, so put on your classy attire and join us for the screening! A lot of fun and some special surprises are of course included, plus the new LomoKino MUBI Edition!

In the prestigious 2010 Cannes Film Festival, Thai independent filmmaker, director, producer, and screen writer Apichatpong Weerasethakul brought home the coveted Palme d’Or prize for his acclaimed film, Uncle Boonmee Who Can Recall His Past Lives. However, “Joe,” as he is fondly called, is no stranger to the world of Cannes. In 2002, his feature Sud Sanaeha (Blissfully Yours), garnered the Un Certain Regard prize. Two years later, another of his feature, Sud Pralad (Tropical Malady), received a Jury Prize from the reputable film festival.

    I knew it lomokino have an other color.But,how about the other camera who don't have other color? Like Diana Multi Pinhole Operator,Oktomat,LC-W,and Lubitel 166+?
