LomoKino Premiere Deluxe of the Week: Stars and Sorrow by Kat May

2012-05-06 1

As we designate the 5th month of the year as the LomoKino Month, we’re in for a good start and have something really major for you! Because today we will reveal the winning movie who managed to bagged the LomoKino Premiere Deluxe award!

If you try to dissect what a movie is made of, it is basically composed of a series of sequential photographs where each of the frames progressively develops into a cohesive movement. Through this simple concept, one can have the possibility to tell a story or even convey their thoughts and feelings into one visual feast.

Good thing there’s the LomoKino to help us realise this kind of analogue visions we have and make it into something good to watch! And that’s exactly what our winner did with his Lomokino camera!

The Jury says:
It is a rather somber piece that’s just so visually dreamy, melancholic and emotionally arresting all at the same time. A full length music video purely done with the LomoKino, nothing more, nothing less and we really adore every second of it!

Congratulations! Your analogue efforts will be rewarded with a hefty piggies worth 50 points and a badge!

Do you think you have what it takes to be the best Lomokino director there is? Or just want to have your movie seen here next? Then get them shortlisted by adding a tag of “lomokino nominee” on it and it will be automatically included in the running for our Lomokino Premiere Deluxe!
