On the 19th of June in the fine Russian city of St. Petersburg (where exactly 25 years ago the first LOMO-COMPACT camera saw the light of day) in the A2 club there was a grand party, which brought together true adepts of analogue photography.
The guests were surprised not only by the artsy LOMO LC-A shaped cake, but also by the presence of creators of the legendary camera – Mikhail Holomyanskiy, head of the Lomography construction department, and Lazar Zalmanov, assistant director of public relations for the Lomography plant.
After a flashback to the 80s, everyone had a taste of the cake, crowned with 25 candles. Sparkling lights, competitions with prizes, great music, rent-out cameras, and huge LomoWalls made for a real birthday atmosphere. And if that wasn’t enough for you, stylists and hairdressers were there to give you an art-makeup or a crazy hairdo.
Spirit of a true celebration, tons of positive emotions, and nightlife energy – that’s what will be remembered by those, who were lucky to be with us that night.
