FestiFeel helps raise vital funds and awareness for Breast cancer charity CoppaFeel! Founded in October 2009 by Kristin Hallenga – who herself was misdiagnosed twice with breast cancer at age 23, and now lives with secondary breast cancer. Coppafeel! educates people on the importance of checking their boobs regularly and knowing the signs and symptoms of breast cancer, knowing what their boobs look and feel like normally, checking their boobs regularly throughout their lifetime and having the confidence to seek medical treatment when they detect abnormalities.
On the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, Monday 4th June, why not put the crown on your extra-long bank holiday weekend by celebrating with boob and music royalty at the Queen of Hoxton, Shoreditch, for the third anniversary of FestiFeel.
The line-up so far includes:
The Milk / The View / Slow Club / Norman Jay MBE / Dog is Dead / Newton Faulkner / Chew Lips / Yes Sir Boss / Kyla La Grange / Jamie N Commons / Blood Red Shoes DJ / Holly Walker / Yadi / The Castells / Goldierocks… and more to be announced soon.
The Rumble Theme
Here at Lomography we think it’s super important that you guys and gals are aware of your own chesticles, and use those trigger happy hands to check them out regularly! So, we’re teaming up with CoppaFeel! on this rumble, the theme of which is hands. Not just for loading film and adjusting lenses, they are your greatest tool in early detection of abnormalities, so we want to see your best analogue photos of those super duper multi-tools that you keep on the end of your arms!
The first prize winner and a friend will win a photopass that will allow you to shoot the whole of FestiFeel, from start to finish, every single brilliant act!
You’ll also get a lovely La Sardina Cubic to keep those hands busy, and 9 rolls of Lomography film of your choice.
The winning photo will also be exhibited at Lomography Gallery Store East London
Five runners up will each win 10 piggy points, to spend in the Lomography Online Shop on goodies of their choice
The five runners up photos will also be exhibited at Lomography Gallery Store East London
