It’s that time of the week again! We present to you the first featured review for this week, which puts one of Lomography’s panoramic wonders on the spotlight: the Horizon Perfekt!
If there’s anything that our featured review author sirio174 has effectively reiterated in his review, it’s why everyone raves about this panoramic wonder called the Horizon Perfekt: it’s perfect for taking photos of every snap-worthy landscape out there!
Our lomographer from Italy has taken his “mythical Horizon Perfekt” for a walk in Como one lovely spring day and tested it out using a color negative film. How did he find the Horizon experience?
“The bright viewfinder with a level is helpful for keeping the camera in horizontal way, without tilts. Although for the first time, you may need some practice (as with all things) to simultaneously take a look at the landscape in the viewfinder and the bubble level (the same difficulty that you can have the first time you use a Lubitel camera and look into the viewfinder; you might be disoriented for a moment for the exchange right-left on the image!).”
We know everyone will agree that even with a regular ISO 200 color negative film, sirio174 definitely got some vibrant and scenic panoramas with his Horizon Perfekt. Let’s take a look at some of them:
