The Lomography B&W 100 Earl Grey 35mm is Delicious!

Lomography now sells tea? No, Lomography has actually come up with a new monochrome film, the Earl Grey 100 35mm black and white film.

The Lomography B&W 100 Earl Grey is a classic black and white 35mm film and is named after the famous tea. It is sold by Lomography in packs of three films. The three rolls of film with 36 shots come in a beautifully decorated box with lots of great photos on it.

The images were taken with the Nikon EM, an SLR camera from Nikon. I developed the black and white film in the all-purpose weapon of black and white developers, Rodinal. for eight minutes with a ratio of 1+50. Beautiful days can be captured with the black and white film for preservation and documentation in the future.

The first roll of film looks really good to me. I fell in love with the great retro look, as the images seem to have come from the 50s. I was pleased that almost all the pictures have become something. The photos just have something special about them. The wide range of gray tones with a deep black and pure white colors that the Lomography Earl Grey offers is beautiful. For skin tones, especially, it gives a lovely silky coat in light gray.

After the first roll of this black and white film, I have to try it in another one of my cameras. Now, the only question is, shall I try it with the LC-A+, Canon AE-1, or Spinner 360, the great panorama camera from Lomography?

Lomography’s Earl Grey is an exquisite black and white 35mm ISO 100 film that will surely give your shots an extra dose of style and class. Whether you’re taking landscapes or portraits, you will get jaw-dropping results with Earl Grey super-fine grain and wide tonal range. See our selection of Lomography films here.
