South Kuta Bali is more than just a great beach, it is conveniently located just a short drive away from Denpasar Airport and it’s Bali’s number one sunset site. Kuta Beach is the most famous beach in Bali, as Kuta is a holiday town, people here are always in a holiday mood.
On the beach, people enjoy parasailing, banana boat trips, swimming, and playing kites. There are a million drink vendors for people who plan to spend the whole day at the beach. There are also Balinese women who offer traditional Indonesian massage on the beach.
Best times to surf at Kuta Beach are during the high tide. The slope of Kuta Beach is very gradual, which is a perfect place for beginners. Most of the surfers here on Kuta Beach are beginners or intermediates. At the end of Pantai Kuta Road, you will see the lifeguard tower, which is in operation from 6am to 7pm. Close to the lifeguard tower, there is a toilet and shower facility.
As darkness falls, Kuta is alive with nightlife. The village abounds with restaurants, shops, pubs, and dance clubs. The Hard Rock Bali is located right in the center of Kuta Town. There are also Circle K and a McDonald’s branch in downtown Kuta.
