We met in the museum of natural science, the LC-A+ and me. A workshop by Lomography Gallery Store Berlin which had taken place there united us. After ten minutes we were in love and the first roll of film was shot.
Lots of exciting motifs – huge dinosaurs, a primevil elephant, numberless sceletts of the oddest creatures which lived once upon a time, stuffed animals, pickeld fishes – cast a spell over us. Like a child, I got into a sensual orgy and couldn’t take my finger from the trigger.
Holding again an analogue camera in my hand after my long lasting digital flirt was a great feeling! Especially the result of our first meeting impressed me: The exposure of Lomography CN 400 Films worked out optimally with the LC-A+ although there were dark lighting conditions in the museum. Many motifs are quite pin sharp as well whereas I fixated the camera only with my hand.
The multiple exposure pictures fascinate me the most. The surreal charm of drunken skulls and flying skeletons of humans and monkeys reminds me of Shakespeare’s Hamlet and whets the appetite for new experiments.
I left with prickling in my belly and a big anticipation for the next meeting after hours the place which we first met.
