“I’ll huff, and I’ll puff, and I’ll blow your house in” said the Big Bad Wolf. If you lived in one of Yo Shimada’s Post-It structures then the wolf would have probably succeeded!
Yo Shimada of of Tato Architects in Kobe, Japan, has created an installation out of 30,000 highlighter colored Post-It Notes! The project was done in collaboration with students at the Kyoto University of Art and Design.
What’s great about this piece is that it’s interactive, in more ways than one! They were invited to wade through parts of the installation that comprises Post-Its strung together, as well as given blank Post-Its to write their impressions on to stick on the gallery’s walls for all to see.
We have our own Post-It happy people in the Lomography community!
So, how many times have we used Post-It in this post (it)? Get to counting and post it in the comments!
