360° View of the World’s Highest Waterfall As Seen In 'Up'

Ever wish you could tie thousands of balloons to your house, fly to a table-top mountain, and take in the amazing view of the world’s highest waterfall, just like in “Up?” Now you can, and you don’t even have to leave your computer chair! AirPano makes it possible with this interactive 360° panorama of Angel Falls. Talk about high-definition.

This is already cool to begin with but especially awesome if you love nature but aren’t outdoorsy/are afraid of heights/don’t have money to fly to South America and rent a helicopter to hover over the tepuis (table-top mountain), like me.

All you have to do to virtually experience what it’s like to be on top of the 3,200-foot tall Angel Falls is head on over to AirPano.com, choose to view in high- or low-resolution (high is highly recommended), wait for it load, and enjoy the view.

And what a view it is! You can even look at surrounding Dragon and Cortina Falls with just a few clicks. No hiking or mountain-climbing necessary.

If the setting looks familiar, it’s probably because you’ve seen the animated version of the breathtaking scenery in Disney’s 2009 film, “Up.” Yes, the dream location does exist in real life and is available for your viewing pleasure.

The waterfall is so high up—about half a mile!—that the water never even reaches the ground because it turns into mist and fog halfway through the descent. Just the thought of it makes my knees wobble! But thanks to the hard work of photographer Dima Moiseenko, I need not feel vertigo. Moiseenko recently went where few men have gone before and battled through harsh weather and tough logistics to get the right shots. And panoramic shooting is a technical kind of photography that requires special equipment. Kudos!

If you wanna try a more down-to-earth (literally!) approach to panoramic photography, why don’t you grab a Spinner 360? You can have a similar “the-world-is-round” approach to shooting and capture beautiful landscapes with analogue effects.

If you already own a Spinner, why don’t you shoot the most captivating vistas in your country and share it with the Lomography community? Maybe your hometown attraction can give Angel Falls a run for its money!

The Spinner 360° goes beyond the confines of standard panoramic cameras. See everything around you (literally!), and be swept away by truly spectacular results. Head to our Online Shop and get your own Spinner 360°!
