Since I bought an LC-Wide at the end of 2011, I just can’t believe I actually like taking a lot of self portraits of myself using this amazing ultra wide compact camera. Believe me, once you’ve shot (yourself), you can’t stop!
The photo above is my first self-portrait taken using LC-Wide and until now, I always and must do this pose in the same place in my home. Self-portraits addict, detected!
…and the addiction continues.
This kind of addiction seems to grow on me. On my big brother’s wedding day, I brought the LC-Wide with me and started shooting myself like the lomograph below.
So after I got really excited on that wedding day, I went to spread my happiness and share with my love ones. I think they’re enjoying it! But still, I’m taking self-portraits with others. Yeah Selfish Selfies!
I’m in and everybody’s in too. Win-win solution! Haha!
Oh well, since taking self-portraits is every lomographers addiction these days. I want to share my addiction to all member of this community.
Starting from Indonesia to India and back to Indonesia. So are you ready? Don’t get bored by my classic wide-self portraits!
Redscale self portraits? Why not!
As I mentioned before, it’s like a new good habit to do that Classic Self Portrait at home. But wait! I’m not just talking about taking self-portraits in my home but also, I will take you to a journey to India where I took a lot…yes, a lot of self-portraits!
Yes, taking self-portraits is a must when you’re travelling especially when travelling solo like me when I spent a week in India. Starting from Agra, Jaipur, Udaipur and New Delhi I took self-portraits just to document myself because there’s no one that is willing to take a photo of me there so I just click click click my LC-Wide and point the camera at me then click! If you see the trend here, a self portrait using LC-wide is obvious you’re shooting your hands too, that’s the cool part! Beside that, it gives you a classic pose that you will remember forever. So remember lomographers, whatever camera you use please take a Classic Self Portraits and also remember LC-Wide users don’t forget to do the Classic LC-Wide self-portraits.
Long live self-portraits!
With big smile,
Adi and the gang
