Illustration Around the World is a project by Pablo Ientile about traveling, drawing, and meeting artists in Asia from 15 September 2011 to 17 March 2012. I first saw his works during a flight from Delhi to Kuala Lumpur in Air Asia’s Travel 3Sixty Magazine. I guess Pablo is living his dream!
Pablo Ientile is an illustrator and motion designer who lives and works between Madrid and Berlin. So when I first saw his works in the magazine, I was so wowed by it because his passion brought him to many places in the world. Luckily, his works was recognize by Air Asia’s magazine so the passengers can know learn about his work, just like how I did. I was so intrigued by his amazing work. Really, I’m not an illustrator but I am always amazed by great talents like Pablo.
I’ve recently checked his website and surprise, he is in Indonesia right now and it is really good to see a great illustrator hanging around with his work in Candi Borobudur.
Check this out!
Enough about Indonesia! Let’s see his other works in another part of Asia.
See? A really great talent! I wonder if Pablo Ientile can draw on our Lomographs? I just love that “The Bear” character! and I wonder if Pablo Ientile himself have a Lomographic camera? Drawings, illustrations, and analogue photography…plus traveling? A perfect combo for a happy life! I’m officially a big fan of Pablo Ientile!
