How exciting! Jack White is to release his first solo album at the end of April, and, here’s a preview! A self-directed music video of his single ‘Love Interruption’, starring Jack, Grammy nominated singer-songwriter Ruby Amanfu, and a dog! Also, the 60s beehive hairdos are something to see!
We love Jack White and were eager to share this exclusive music video, directed by Jack himself, for the single ‘Love Interruption’, on his up-and-coming solo album ‘Blunderbuss’, to be released April 23. The melody is soothing, even though the lyrics that personify love, could be seen as otherwise!
And I want love to…
cover up my ears,
and never let me hear a sound.
And while the above verse is in relation to the love Jack is addressing, in our shoes we wouldn’t want out ears covered up when listening to this lovely, albeit interrupted, song!
Of the songs on the album, Jack says they were “written from scratch, had nothing to do with anyone or anything else but my own expression, my own colors on my own canvas.” Speaking of canvasses, how cool is it that a Lomography camera has been among his canvasses! The red, white and black 'JACK' Holga was designed in conjunction with The White Stripes.
