Armed with an array of cameras, flashes, and flashlights, analogue shooters in San Francisco gathered to learn about some new tricks! We brought out the illustrators within each of our participants as we painted the night… With light!
The Lomography Gallery Store in San Francisco was packed on this particular Sunday night! Why the crowds? They were here to attend the San Francisco store’s first Light Painting Workshop. Each attendee took a seat and listened as we talked about tools and techniques, anxiously waiting to try it themselves. Armed with an array of cameras, flashes, and flashlights, our Lomo lovers were ready to put the lessons into practice!
We had a blast experimenting; Some of our guests even brought props to enhance their images! They wrapped themselves in aluminum foil, lit up balloons and carried flash umbrellas as they photographed one another.
Dinosaurs, devils, angels and ambiance… They tried it all, and they managed some pretty awesome images, despite it being a first attempt! They’ll surely be creating some great pictures at home and on their own! We can’t wait for our next class together; Be sure to check in for a current schedule of workshops and events at the Lomography Gallery Store in San Francisco!
