Holga Singapore Tour

2009-06-17 8

25 people, 1 Holga camera, 300 shots. A tour around our sunny island to show that a country never too small to tour in it. This is the first time the tour is happening in Singapore.

A showcase of our country through the plastic lens. Each participants only allowed to take pics in their own estate neighborhood. Why you ask? Although our country is small, people hardly travel to different estates unless its for a certain reason, we all just want to hang out at town or those hip places in our country as such having participants taking pics of only their own estate allows them to showcase the interesting things in their estate.

Shots can be of people, buildings etc etc that people from other estates have never seen before. Each participants allowed 12shots and 4days before handing it over to the next participant. Participants also have to leave their mark on the holga, be it drawing, sticker etc so by the end of it, the camera will be sexy. Creative mask allowed, just no permanent mods to the camera.

The tour already started, its going wellllllll.

And hope this event will inspire other countries out there to have their own tour. Honestly, no one really ever seen every inch of your own country.
