There is no better way to spend a Sunday afternoon than making films in the park! We put a little twist on our traditional Lomokino workshop and asked our attendees to pick a genre out of a hat and then create a film using that genre. Take a look at the fun we had!
On an wonderfully warm winter day in New York a group of Lomographers from around the world gathered at our Greenwich store. We learned all about the moving images of the Lomokino and made our own pieces of moving art. We split into groups and challenged ourselves to recreate certain movie genres. Along with fun props to complete our films we went out to Washington Square park and made a comedic film as well as a western. BANG! BANG! BANG!
We have teamed up with the legendary Strand Bookstore for a summer series of LomoWalks. On Saturday July 14th, author Jeremiah Moss is going to join us and provide literary inspiration for participants. He has recently taken one of our Simple Use Film Cameras and created a wonderful series himself.
Dee, better know as elegia is a photographer based in Manchester, UK and has been sampling the Fuji Instax Monochrome film with the Lomo'Instant Wide. We talked to her about the joys of instant photography and what the future might hold.
