We all well know that sudden conflict named the Falklands War (Guerra de las Malvinas), what we ignored is the emotional meeting of these two soldiers after 30 years.

Marcelo Llambías was sent to Falklands War in 1982. It was near “Puerto Argentino” were in the middle of a battle, he lost his bag with a Kodak camera inside. He had taken many shots of the war and thought that he would never see the results.

Surprisingly, this year he was informed that their pictures were published in a book called “Pictures from far away”. Unbelievable! A British soldier, Nick Taylor, had found that camera and took it to a British editorial.

Almost 30 years later Marcelo and Nick met at the Malvinas again and remembered together those hard times they spent there fighting one against the other. Nick was so kind to return all the pictures to Marcelo in a gesture of friendship. In their meeting in Mount Kent, were they had been in battle, they both went into combat again, not with bullets but shooting their cameras.

They both found a happy ending and a new strong relation thanks to that old lost camera.
