Kodak Tmax 400: Pushable Film

As we all know, Kodak faced a hard time in the business world. They produced a lot of great colour films such as the legendary Kodachrome, as well as monochrome films. As analogue users, we should support Kodak to help them sustain in this world so that all the great film will not be lost due to the mainstream age.

This is my first time use Kodak 400 Tmax, and I decided to push it one stop because through my research on the internet, it can produce quite a good result. So, I plan to use it on new years eve to test it ability on low light condition. The film was loaded in my lovely companion , Lomography LC-A +. Below are some of the results :

During new year’s eve, there was an anonymous group who called themselves “Vendetta” and I got a chance to see them. Yeah, the light condition is very low. I turned the LC-A+ asa knob to 800 and start to click the shutter button.

Besides that, I also tested it at Yuna’s 2nd Album launch. Here are the results :

Last but not least, I shot some portraits:

Personally, this film is very sharp but because I pushed it to 800, too much grain appeared on every image, but I like it because it gives character and makes the photos look artistic.

Chapter 11 bankruptcy means reorganization, not abolition. Just keep buying their film-Kodak Ektar is also great. Good review.

Great review and nice photos. Kodak don't really make any bad films at least in their pro ranges. I just hope they can save company and save the film.

It's already decided that their film-making will continue. The Chapter 11 reconstruction means you keep the vital parts of the company alive and kill the other parts. Film making is still valuable
