Dress like a Russian Madman Extended Rumble

Time to act (and dress up) as a crazy Russian lunatic! Be a frenzied scientist, a fanatical film-eating chemist, a psychotic clown, a conked-out shrink/psychiatrist or probably the KGB – the crazier, the better!

Brace yourselves for a kooky costume party this side of the block! Time to put out your craziest look in front of your ever-eager analogue cameras’ lenses, as a huge prize is at stake for this rumble: a spectacular Smena 8 to make you go wild!

So here’s how it goes: dress up like a Russian Madman! Be a frenzied scientist, a fanatical film-eating chemist, a psychotic clown, a conked-out shrink/psychiatrist or probably the KGB – the crazier, the better! (remember, not so much profanity/sexual content please).

Coming out in your craziest costume (and your zaniest antics) just might get you that delectable Russian relic, the Smena 8 delivered straight to your secret hideout! We’re giving you a full month to compose your crazy pictures and look for equally insane comrades to join in the fun!

Read the rules carefully for this one:

  • Prize: One winner of a Smena8 camera
  • Film/Camera Type: No restrictions here
  • Upload Limit: Unlimited
  • Minimum Photo Dimensions: Submissions must be at least 768px in either width or height.
  • Photos should be tagged with the usual metadata as well as the keyword “russian scientist” for your entries to be eligible of winning the grand prize
  • By submitting your photos to this rumble, you allow Lomography.com to use your submitted photos for promotional purposes.
