Cecil Beaton started his career designing book jackets. That was when he learned photography and refined his techniques. Later on, he was able to open his own studio. As he gained popularity, his talent in taking photos landed his works on British and French Vogue. He would take fashion photos and of people from the high society, and even had the chance to take photos of the Royal Family.
