My father loves to go fishing and he just found that Bahia is a great place if you’re into high sea fishing. So, we left São Paulo and when we arrived, we were not disappointed. You think this is a fisherman’s tale? Well, look at the photos and see for yourself!
The sea was rough and we couldn’t really adventure ourselves into high sea. So we had to stay in Bahia de Todos os Santos (Bay of All Saints). Since we were there during wintertime, it was well worth to take a plane and enjoy the sunny day in the sea.
At the end of the day, my girlfriend (who only decided to join us at the last minute) was the only one of us who could catch any fish. The worst part was, in the middle of all the rush we forgot to take Lomo-pictures of the African Threadfish she caught! We only have pictures of her struggling with the fish and later a picture of me with their heads while we were eating them.
Does this sound like a fisherman’s tale to you? Well, fortunately the Captain uploaded some pictures in his website, which can prove that all these that I’m telling you is true! We took advantage of our stay in Salvador and explored the city for a bit.
As Caymmi used to say: “Have you been to Bahia? Well, go then!”
